Welcome, Friends!
I first want to welcome and thank all of you for stopping by my page! This is my first time ever doing something along these lines so mistakes may happen, but it can be a learning time for us all!
To tell you a little more about myself, I am a Junior double major at Miami University. I am majoring in Sports Management and Life Science Education. An odd combo, I know, but it combines a couple of my passions, just as the URL of this blog does.
My current potential career pathways include being either an athletic director at the high school or collegiate level, or going to law school and focusing on sports and entertainment law.
I am involved on campus with the Miami RedHawks football team as an assistant to the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator and cannot wait until the wins start to pile up for our historically great program again. Under the current staff, the wins are now a matter of "when," not "if."
I am also the Vice-President of Phi Epsilon Kappa, a professional fraternity in the fields of health, sports, nutrition, and the like. We are attempting to expand on campus and get our name out there for newer members so that we can continue to grow. I love working with our philanthropy, the Oxford Parks and Rec Department and can't wait to see what the next couple years have in store for this relationship.
I intend for the blog to be a unique blend of all of my passions that might not make sense at first, although I hope they come together macroscopically to make something magical. I want this to be a mixture of educational materials, thought, ideologies, and any other related topics that come to mind, as well as any number of sports related things ranging from football to racing to basketball and anything in between. I encourage you to come along for the ride and take an oath of spontaneity as I know I will be.
Thanks and enjoy!
Cody J. Dye
